Think of each new blog post as hiring a sales rep to stand out there to help promote your business. At where I work, I wrote a few posts about our products, they hit really high rankings in Google and now they save us a couple hundred bucks a day vs. PPC ads and we've made quite a few sales! It works. Blogging can do sooo many wonders for a business – extra pages indexed, sales and more. Think of each new blog post as hiring a sales rep to stand out there to help promote your business.

At where I work, I wrote a few posts about our products, they hit really high rankings in Google and now they save us a couple hundred bucks a day vs. PPC ads and we’ve made quite a few sales!

I still had expanses to pay from that, and one of those expenses was to pay for the products we were installing, employees etc... So I didn't profit $50k, but I was making a nice profit from the sales and installations of our products. I have a new site coming out soon that will help you with doing exactly what you are trying to accomplish with that site. Stay in touch as I am sure it will help you. That was $50k in total sales. I don't own a buisness myself, but I know a few people that do and they have websites, but thats just it they are static websites that really don't have a lot of information just the basics like when they open stuff like that. Just a little blog section would help and with the addition of SEO their site could be hopping with visitors an potential sales.
