This being my first post on this site, I thought I would describe some topics I will be covering on this site in order to provide information on helping businesses dive into the world of blogging and micro-blogging.

About Me:

My name is Keith Bloemendaal (blue-men-doll), easier to pronounce than it looks :-) . At the time of writing this article I am 38 years old.

Most of my career has been in the construction industry where I have been an electrician, plumber, carpenter, and more. I have also been involved in sales mostly with construction based products and currently have an online fence store where I offer fence products for DIYers and contractors.

I have owned four companies, a remodel company, a plumbing contracting company, a fence contracting company, and now a fence supply company.

My experience in blogging started with my interest in helping get customers for a fence company I was the sales manager for, and I later started my own fence contracting company where I developed and wrote all the content for the website.  I also researched and experimented with many different “social media” and “social networking” sites to learn how they could help me in business.

This my 9th blog and I designed all but one of them.

I plan to share those experiences here and discuss which ones worked for me and which ones didn’t. It is my belief that what worked in my case, may not work for you and vise versa.
